The Haven Hotel
In 1899 Marconi established wireless communication between France and England across the English Channel. He erected permanent wireless stations at The Needles, Isle of Wight, at Bournemouth and later at the Haven Hotel, Poole, Dorset (seen in this picture).

Hi Dr Tyagi. Saw your pic of the Haven Hotel ... I live in Bournemouth and work in Poole. I like your pictures (I've been doing the same with a photo blog just started recently: mydigipics.blogspot.com).
Don't know what Mr. Anonymous is on about... looks like an automatic blog comment post to me! You can turn on some sort of authentication to stop that. I did.
